Hollywood DUI Defense Attorneys

Law enforcement officers throughout Hollywood and the surrounding cities in California are always on the lookout for those who are driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you are driving carelessly or are failing to obey traffic laws, law enforcement may pull you over to assess the situation. If you smell of alcohol, if your demeanor is suspicious or if there are any open alcoholic beverages in your vehicle, you may be asked to perform one or more of the following field sobriety tests: walk and turn [WAT] test, one leg stand [OLS] test, or the horizontal gaze nystagmus [HGN] test. You may also be asked to submit to a breathalyzer test to measure your BAC (blood alcohol content). If you fail a sobriety test, if your BAC level is 0.08% or higher or the officer has reason to believe that you are under the influence, your driver’s license will be confiscated and you will be arrested for DUI.
